Order Beer 4Pack by Friday - Jonas Salk Lager
Here is an opportunity to drink some unique beer, while at the same time raising money for PolioPlus on October 24, 2024, and an opportunity to pre-order said beer in four packs of specially packaged cans.

The West Allis Rotary Club, in partnership with Ope! Brewing of West Allis, has ordered production of Jonas Salk Laager, in honor of the creator of the Salk Vaccine, which made possible the elimination of polio. To celebrate this special brew, the West Allis Rotary is hosting an event on October 24th, at Ope! Brewing, 6751 W. National Ave in West Allis, from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  Jonas Salk Lager will be available on tap at the event, with $1.00 of every glass going to the PolioPlus fund.

Collector's item Pints for Polio glasses, from the original PETS collection of glasses, will be available for purchase at the event, for drinking your Jonas Salk Laager from, but quantities are limited

In addition - if you act quickly - because production planning is critical - you can pre-order a 4 pack of Jonas Salk Laager for pick-up at the brewery, either that day, or the day prior to the event. The price of each 4 pack is $12, with $4 of each pack set to go to the PolioPlus fund.

TO ORDER:  Contact Dave Owens at owens.denise@sbcglobal.net with the number of 4 packs you would like, at $12 each.  Payment will be at the event.  If you are unable to attend, but still want beer, let Dave know and we will somehow arrange for your product to find you, and your payment to find him.

DEADLINE: Because of the need to plan production, it is important that ALL orders be placed with Dave Owens by no later than Friday, August 16th. This is to insure they have enough ingredients for production, and labeling for the cans and the packages.

Please distribute this information to your club's membership ASAP, to allow others to participate.  For sure get the information to the beer lovers in your group.

Hope to see you on Oct. 24th at Ope!
